Subodh Patni was born in the family of Chandmal Dhannalal in Ajmer
(Rajasthan) in 1953. Chandmal Dhannalal family is a very famous and
religious family of Rajasthan. He did his schooling in Kolkata and
B.Com and LLB in Jaipur from Rajasthan University. In his college
days along with studies he was very actively involved in other
social activities. He was one of the founders of Sujangarh Young's
Club. The club started functioning in 1972. Mr. Subodh is still
associated with this club. The club runs 12 camps for the upliftment
of society. Water supply in drought areas of Rajasthan, eye camps
etc. are some of the camps this club runs.
He is a businessman and a social worker. His first business was
Transport and coal supply business. Today along with that business
he supplies raw jute to the units of government of India and he also
deals in real estates. Mr. Patni's son, Manoj Patni, is a Fashion
Designer and his daughter, Priyanka Patni, is a graphic designer.
Mr. Subodh Patni is a renowned personality in Kolkata Jain Samaaj.
He is very actively involved in various social activities of Jain
Samaaj of Kolkata.
He is Seh-Sanyojak of Chaturmaas Commitee. Presently, along with his business he is very attentively and
sincerely engaged with the functioning of this committee. He is a
devotee of Jain Munis (Jain Saints) and has done many padyatras with
Jain Munis who visit West Bengal. He is a member of Sri Digambar
Jain Muni Sangh Vyavastha Samiti Burra Bazaar. He is a life member
of Jain Yuva Sangathan and is associated with it since 1978. Jain
Yuva Sangathan periodically organises Blood Donation Camps and
besides looking over the functioning of these camps he donates blood
as well. The world needs more dynamic and co-operative persons like
him for the upliftment of societies.
